Thomas F. McAndrews, 87, lifelong resident of Indianapolis, passed away May 8, 2025. He was born September 27, 1937 to the late John L., Sr. and Edna (Boring) McAndrews. Tom was a graduate of Manual High School. He attended Butler University and married Diane Barbara Meyer December 1, 1962. Tom was employed with Van Ausdall & Farrar for 34 years, retiring in 2003.
Tom was a longtime member of Little Flower Catholic Church. He was the Director of the CYO Boys & Girls Basketball Program for Little Flower Parish for 29 years and was a St. John Bosco Award Recipient. Tom was also a member of the Little Flower Men’s Club and the Ancient Order of Hibernians.
Visitation will be Thursday, May 15, 2025 from 4:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. at Shirley Brothers Irving Hill Chapel, 5377 E. Washington Street. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held Friday, May 16, 2025 at 12:30 p.m. at Little Flower Catholic Church, 4720 E. 13th Street.

Tom is survived by his children, Kelly A. (Phil) Scheidler and Patrick T. (Jeni) McAndrews; and five grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his loving wife of nearly 60 years, Diane B. (Meyer) McAndrews.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Little Flower Catholic Church.
