Passing of Kenneth J. “Kenny” Hurley

Kenneth J. “Kenny” Hurley, 65, passed away Saturday March 9, 2024, after a courageous battle with cancer. He was born October 17, 1958, in Indianapolis, IN.

Kenny was a ‘77 graduate of Scecina Memorial High School. He worked many years in construction, eventually starting his own business. Kenny always looked forward to the month of May, working and spending time with friends at the track. Kenny was so proud to be Irish. He was a member of the Ancient Order of Hibernians, serving as president and he was a long-time volunteer of the Indy Irish Fest. Kenny loved to fish and enjoyed spending time with family at Grandview Lake.

He is survived by his brother, Mark Foley (Kathleen), nephews, Ryan (Analise) and Kevin Foley, niece, Lauren Foley, great niece, Reagan Foley, as well as many other dear family and friends. He was preceded in death by his parents, Annabelle and Dick Foley and Thomas Hurley.

Visitation will be held Monday, March 25th from 4:00-8:00pm at Oakley-Hammond Funeral Home 5342 E. Washington Street, followed by a Mass of Christian Burial on Tuesday, March 26th at 10:00am at Our Lady Of Lourdes Catholic Church.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorial contributions be made to Ancient Order of Hibernians or Scecina Memorial High School Athletics.
