Volunteers Needed | AOH Tent at Indy Irish Fest

The Kevin Barry Division has hosted a tent at the Indy Irish Fest since its inception twenty-four years ago. And although the tent, food menu, raffle items, and festivities have changed over the years, one thing has not: it requires many volunteers in order to be successful!

This year we have 106 volunteer slots to fill. Some members volunteer for multiple slots, but our goal is to get as many members involved as possible.

Volunteering at the Irish Fest is a great opportunity for members–new and longtime–to get to know one another and help raise funds for our charitable giving.

To sign up for this year’s Irish Fest, please click the button below and select your volunteer slot. Thank you!

FAQ for Volunteer Shifts

Q: Where do I park? A: There are a number of garages and limited street parking near Military Park. More info here.

Q: Where do I enter? A: The main entrance is at the corner of New York and West Street. Check in at the volunteer line and provide your name (make sure you have signed up for the right day)

Q: Where is our tent? A: As you enter, our tent will be located to your right, next to the North Stage. Here is a map.

Q: When should I arrive? A: Volunteer slots overlap by a half hour, so arriving early is not necessary. Arriving at your scheduled time helps with learning the ropes before taking control of your role.
