AOH Picnic and State Raffle – 2024

The Kevin Barry Division #3 proudly hosts an annual picnic every August, a cherished tradition that brings together members and non-members alike for an afternoon of fellowship and community. This gathering is more than just a social event; it serves as a vital opportunity to strengthen the bonds within our community, fostering connections that extend beyond our regular monthly meetings. The day is filled with a variety of activities that cater to all ages, from the friendly competition of horseshoes and volleyball to the joyful laughter of children enjoying the bounce house.

Our picnic begins with a special Mass, typically presided over by our Chaplain, setting a reflective and communal tone for the day. This spiritual gathering is a reminder of our shared values and commitment to supporting one another, both within our organization and in the broader community. Following Mass, we share a meal together, where old friends reconnect, new friendships are formed, and everyone enjoys a sense of belonging.

Beyond the fun and camaraderie, our picnic also serves as an important platform for our charitable efforts. As an organization deeply rooted in service, we use this occasion to raise awareness and support for our various charitable initiatives. Whether it’s through direct donations or simply spreading the word about our causes, the picnic is a testament to our collective dedication to making a positive impact. This annual event is not just a day of celebration; it is a powerful expression of the unity and generosity that define the Kevin Barry Division #3.
