2025 AOH St. Patrick's Celebration | March 16 | A Great Day for the Irish!

Our day begins with Mass at St. John the Evangelist Catholic Church. After Mass, the Hibernian members, families, and friends will parade up Capitol Avenue to the Indiana Roof Ballroom for the Celebration. There, we will host over 400 guests and enjoy a luncheon, awards ceremony, and musical entertainment.

Eunan McIntyre

Eunan McIntyre is an award winning singer/songwriter from Glencolmcille in Co Donegal, Ireland. He has won several song competitions in Ireland, receiving the Pete St John ASCI award for his song “Josie” which also won the Sean McCarthy All-Ireland traditional Ballad song Competition. He has on several occasions received first prize in the Clonmany song competition, as well as the Keadue song competition in Roscommon.

Eunan has supported acts such as Tommy Sands, Sean Keane and the Legendary Wolftones. He has also supported  Danny Doyle, Daniel O’Donnell, and  Sean Cannon, a member of the Legendary Dubliners. To date, Eunan has released five albums and a DVD based on his own material. His first album was just called “Collection of Songs”, and then he released “All the love you Bring”, “Rathlin Sky”,  “Blown on a Breeze”, "This Place That I Call Home". He has also released a live album with the Swiss band Tacha based on a project called “The Challenge Between Cultures”

Eunan is best known for his songwriting skills and his warm personality. He is influenced by the beautiful natural surroundings in which he grew up, and now lives with his wife Jackie and family. He writes about the place he was born, his experiences being part of a big family (he’s one of 16 children), and his love of traditional ballads. While Eunan is on stage he can reach into the heart of the audience with his Irish humor, and his own songs.

The Indianapolis Ceili Band

The AOH is excited to welcome back the Indianapolis Ceili Band, who will once again share their musical talents with our community. Members of the band have frequently performed at AOH events, including our annual Summer Picnic and Christmas Party.

The Indianapolis Céilí Band was formed in 2009, in conjunction with the Irish Arts Academy of Indianapolis, in effort to promote traditional Irish music in the state of Indiana. They perform for ceili’s, dances, and parties throughout the midwest.

The band was the Midwest Fleadh Cheoil Senior Ceili Band Champions in 2015. And travelled to Ennis, Ireland in August, 2016 to compete in the All-Ireland Ceili Band competition, Fleadh Cheoil Na hErieann. They qualified to represent Indiana and compete in Ireland in 2014, 2015, 2016, 2022, 2024.
