Hibernian Kehoe Scholarship | Ancient Order of Hibernians

Over 50 “Kehoe Scholars” have benefited from a great legacy in memory of Pat Kehoe’s father, Frank Kehoe, our former President. Pat received the 2012 Kevin Barry “Presidents’ Award.” Sadly, shortly thereafter we abruptly lost Pat Kehoe in July.

Since Pat Kehoe’s passing in 2012, the Kevin Barry Division and its friends have rallied mightily to continue this worthy endeavor dedicated to our youth. Frank Kehoe always worried about recruiting young Hibernians. Pat Kehoe’s generous gift in memory of his Dad allowed the A.O.H. to plant seeds to grow tomorrow’s Kevin Barry Hibernians. The tradition of giving continues; the legacy lives on; the “Kehoe Scholars” are continuing to grow; and the future of Kevin Barry A.O.H. will be bright. Today, we award this year’s Kevin Barry Hibernian “Kehoe Scholarship,” in honor of Frank and Pat, father and son.

May today’s St. Patrick’s celebration attendees celebrate the “Kehoe Scholars,” and quietly remember the good deeds of Frank and Pat Kehoe. And remember, as we solemnly celebrate this St. Patrick’s Day, what a difference you can make by your generous support of this worthy endeavor. Tomorrow’s young Hibernians depend on you today!!
