Our summer picnic was a great success thanks to the organization efforts of our board and volunteers. My families were present, new and old, to celebrate their Irish Catholic heritage. Mass was offered by Fr. Glenn O’Connor for the repose of the soul of the late Fr. Noah Casey, a faithful Hibernian of Kevin Barry Division #3, Indianapolis.
What’s next? Plenty. The Hibernian trip to Dayton for their Irish Festival, followed by numerous events throughout August, including our next Hibernian meeting. After that, preparations for the Indy Irish Fest will be in full swing.
